To Total Oil I am very concerned that Total Oil is in a joint business venture with Burma's brutal military dictatorship. By working so closely with the dictatorship you are funding a regime that imprisons and tortures political opponents, has been condemned by the United Nations for its widespread use of forced labour and that uses rape as a weapon of war in its persecution of ethnic minorities. Burma’s democracy leaders have asked companies not to invest in Burma. I urge you to end your business partnership with Burma's military dictatorship and pull out of Burma now!
