Crimes against humanity in eastern Myanmar
This report by Amnesty International focuses on violations of international human rights and humanitarian law committed in Kayin State and Bago Division between 2005 through 2007. It raises grave concerns that the violations of international human rights and humanitarian law against the Karen described in this report have been part of a widespread and systematic pattern of crimes committed over the past decade and a half and suggests that some of these violations constitute crimes against humanity.
