Women of Burma Living Under Dictatorship

Women in Burma bear the brunt of dictatorship in the country. On Tuesday
15th July at 6pm three women from Women Of Burma UK will give presentations
to British MPs on how women suffer under the dictatorship, and why the
international community should be doing more to support them.

Wai Hnin Pwint Thon, daughter of a political prisoner, on political
prisoners and women activists in jail.

Yu Wah Hlaing on women trafficking and sexual violence against women

Wutyi Hlaing on the systematic use of rape and sexual violence against
women, and why the United Nations Security Council should take action.

Room M, Portcullis House, Tuesday 15th July at 6pm
