KT Tunstall Sings for Burma

KT Tunstall to perform a tribute to Aung San Suu Kyi on the 12th anniversary of her being under house arrest.

October 24th 2007 will mark a total of 12 years that Aung San Suu Kyi, the detained leader of Burma’s democracy movement, has been under house arrest. It has been her heroism, courage and peaceful protest, in the face of an oppressive military regime, that has struck a chord with millions around the world.

Platinum selling artist KT Tunstall is the latest musician to lend her support to the campaign. She will sing her international hit song ‘Suddenly I See’ in tribute to Aung San Suu Kyi at her concert at Leeds University on October 24.

As the world’s media leaves the country to its fate, we ask people not to forget about Burma.
