Political Prisoners in Burma:
A Crime against Humanity

Ko Mya Aye is a political prisoner in Burma. He is currently serving a 65 year jail term for his involvement in the uprising in 2007. In January 2011 the United Nations ruled that his detention is arbitrary and breaks international law.  Arbitrary detention is in violation of Article 7 of the Rome Statute. It is a crime against humanity.

Take action now to persuade the European Union to support a UN Inquiry into crimes against humanity in Burma.

So far twelve European countries support an inquiry. If we can get two more to support, we will have more than half of EU members supporting an Inquiry.  Our first targets are Sweden and Luxembourg.

TAKE MORE ACTION NOW!
