For a number of years now I have supported Burma Campaign UK. I hope, like me, that you support the campaign because you want to see an end to human rights abuses in Burma, and that you admire the bravery, courage and commitment of people like Aung San Suu Kyi and the hundreds of political prisoners in Burma.

I became a patron of Burma Campaign UK because they are making a difference to the struggle to free Burma.

I want to ask you as a fellow supporter, to help Burma Campaign UK by making a gift in your Will.

Leaving a gift in your Will, however large or small, is so important to Burma Campaign UK. You will help us to continue campaigning to ensure that future generations of Burmese people can live in a free and democratic country.

Recently, we received a cheque for £5,000. It was left as a legacy, a gift in a Will, from a committed supporter of Burma Campaign UK. The woman, who we have been asked not to name, supported us for several years and campaigned and donated to Burma Campaign UK regularly.

We were naturally sad to hear the news, but very appreciative of her thoughtfulness in thinking of Burma Campaign UK when she made her Will.

£5,000 is a significant amount of money to us and we will use it well in our campaigning work over the coming year.
