Robert Thein’s 200km Arctic Trek
In March, Robert Thein will be leaving ‘sunny’ England and heading into the Arctic Circle for a grueling 200km Husky Trek through blizzards and temperatures as low as -30°C.
Robert Thein said:
“I visit my family in Burma as often as I can. I last went in 2009 and saw the difficulties the people from Burma face each day. I’ve also had an opportunity to meet people from Burma who have spent many years in refugee camps, their stories and courage have inspired me to do something to help my people”.

Fundraising for Burma Campaign UK raises awareness and encourages new supporters as well as desperately needed funds supporting vital action for the people of Burma.
You can organise a collection, a dress down or fancy dress day, pub quiz, dance or carol singing.
Your support will help us to work for democracy and freedom for the people of Burma.
