Free Aung San Suu Kyi

Aung San Suu Kyi has been found guilty of breaking the terms of her house arrest after an American man, John Yettaw, swam to her house and refused to leave. She has been sentenced to 18 months under house arrest.

The UN Security Council has called for all political prisoners to be released but must do more to make sure this happens. It is time the generals faced consequences for their actions, a global arms embargo should be imposed immediately.
